Prepare holder for wet umbrellas. Get from Pollbook Box #1: Paysheet and long ("weekend") list of absentee voters. Attach long list of absentee voters to wall (or put on rain table) and record count. Set up and check Tabulator Base; ensure both bins and blue ballot box are empty. Place some signs by Tabulator Base for attachment on Tuesday morning. Distribute my folders/contents and any forms from gray bin to work areas. Set up ExpressVote. Do inside and outside setup using my diagrams. For outside, also see "Outside Signs and Curbside" sheet. RT: Set up pollbook binders with inserts and letter-allocated label pages. RT: Use file jackets and paper to make RT line signs (provide a sample) (try number signs). RT: Check pollbooks for printing errors. [BT:] Test scanner and leave it charging overnight in break room (skip for 5/14/24 election). HT: Ensure that all pages of provisional labels are good. BT: Set up BMS box if required. Processing for the "last-minute absentee list" -- the short list: Tape a copy of the short list to the long ("weekend") list. RT: Tell RT Officials I have already marked the pollbooks for the short list voters. HT: Tape a copy of the short list by the laptop(s). Distribute blank badges. Take pictures of door signs. Outside: Set up "No Campaigning" signs, A-frame signs, cones, and LED lights if required. Ensure curbside lane is still marked. Move curbside doorbell stand back outside and retest doorbell button. Ensure signs placed at Monday setup are still in place. Ensure 50-foot zones are still marked; clear any campaign signs from them . Follow Chief Judge Pocket Guide for "Opening the Polls". Take picture of Tabulator signs after Tabulator boots. Boot ExpressVote and take picture. During the day: Use Chief Judge Pocket Guide. Review all checklists. Monitor traffic and parking. Audit ATV's and Provisional Envelopes. Rotate assignments and allow for lunch breaks. Prepare "CJ Collection Box for Blue Bag" for Tabulator closing and Reconcilation bag contents. Collect final notes for postmortem. Audit latest pack of ATVs and as many on spindle as possible. Audit as many remaining provisional enevelopes as possible. Assign end-of-line Officials. Sign some ballot box labels early. Collect my items from Break Room. Pack up Curbside and CJ Tables. Tape "WCBOE Table" and "Jeff's Table" signs to the current Curbside and CJ Tables. Set up two long, packing-up tables with signs and Packing-Up sheets (see above). Move these tables closer to the center of the room.
